SHI will facilitate an overnight outdoor retreat, conducted inside the Medicine Wheel. Retreat participants are active all night, with healing ceremonies conducted at the four directions including a Sweat Lodge Ceremony. This retreat ends with a dawn ceremony, followed by breakfast. Essentials of Shamanism @ Shamanic Healing Institute, Historic Savage Mill
This program is designed for individuals who are interested in shamanism and may have had little, if any education or training in these healing arts. The program is an intensive training program of knowledge and practice of spiritual healing and pre-requisite course for The Kawsay Journey and The Munay Way. During the course the participant will learn how to journey to three worlds, build their first healing mesa and receive the Rites of Passage of the Shaman Eyes and Protective Bands for Power. Kawsay Journey @ Shamanic Healing Institute, Historic Savage Mill
Successful graduates of The Fundamentals of Shamanism or the Essentials of Shamanism are eligible to attend The Kawsay Journey to develop personal power to heal self and others. The course is not only for those who are seeking to become shamanic practitioners, but, also for those individuals who desire to integrate the energy medicine traditions of the people of the Andes and the Amazon into an intimate experience that can be expressed in all aspects of daily living. The goal of The Kawsay Journey is the application of Munay, upon understanding our truth in conjunction with the guiding principle of ayni. Some of the topics to be presented are: The Seven Saywas of Energy; Poqpo and Cekes (the energy body); How to perform specific spiritual healing ceremonies: Imprint Removal, Extraction, Water Ceremony, Poqpo Cleansing; Divination (process of seeing); and, The Practices of the Pampamesayoqs (The Stewards of the Earth). Each participant will be initiated with the rights of the Pampamesayoqs during the last class ceremony. Dates to be determined.
